31 October is observed every year as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) to commemorate birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who is hailed as the ‘Iron Man of India’ as he had played important role in unifying the country.
To mark this occasion, the students of the school were among the thousand students who took part in the Unity Run that was carried out from Mini Secretariat to HUDA Sec 13-17.The participation of the students was in itself a moment of pride to see the youngsters following the path of principles laid down by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
In every class, teachers inspired the students to follow the footsteps of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, highlighting his political acumen, indomitable zeal and farsightedness. They encouraged the children to ensure that they will dedicate their lives towards keeping India, a unified India.
Honourable Principal, Mrs.Sabita Choudhry upheld that a great leader like Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel has left behind a rich legacy of unity and integrity. His toils and efforts which managed to stitch together the numerous small and conflicting states will always be held in high esteem by the present as well as generations to come.
