‘Haryana Day' is celebrated on 1 November in Haryana every year to commemorate the day when the state of Haryana was carved out of Punjab in 1966.
S. D. Vidya Mandir, HUDAorganized a ''Haryana Day Quiz' on 28 October, 2021 in which students from classes 3rd to 5th participated with great zeal and zest. The purpose of this quiz was to make the students familiar with their own state. The quiz had three rounds - Warm Up, Visual Round and Rapid-Fire Round. Amidst all the bright students, team C won the first prize followed by team B securing second position. The quiz enhanced the general knowledge of students and generated their interest in current affairs too. Even the audience was curious to know the answers of asked questions from the teams. Principal Mr.MadhupParasar congratulated the winners and encouraged the students to keep themselves updated by reading the newspaper and listening news.
