Independence Day Celebration
The preservation of freedom is not the task of soldiers alone. The whole nation has to be strong.
~ Lal Bahadur Shastri
15 August is a day to remember and pay homage to our freedom fighters known and unknown who sacrificed their lives for this great nation.
To honour these patriots Independence Day program was celebrated in S D Vidya Mandir, HUDA, Panipat with full zeal and enthusiasm.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the School Management Committee Sh. Satish Chandra ji, Vice
Chairman Sh. Rajeev Garg ji, Secretary Sh. Naresh Goel ji and Principal Dr. Anu Gupta hoisted the flag in the school premises in the presence of the whole school staff. A bunch of tricolour balloons was also released in the air to mark the spirit of the occasion.
Chairman Sh. Satish Chandra ji congratulated all the teachers and the students on this pious day. He inspired all the students to respect the martyrs and the freedom fighters of the country. Sh Rajeev Garg ji (Vice Chairman) also motivated the students through his words of wisdom.
To make this day more memorable a 'Fancy Dress Activity' was also organised for the classes Pre-Nursery to V, and a speech competition for classes VI-VIII. Children recited patriotic poems and slogans to express their gratitude. They presented their views on the feeling of patriotism.
Our students also represented the school in a programme organised at Judicial Complex. They presented speech, poem and dance there during the Independence Day celebrations.
All in all the day was filled with the feeling of gratitude towards our martyrs and love for our country.
Here are a few moments captured through the lens...
